Established in 2008, Cornerstone Conservation, LLC. is a premier art and historic architectural conservation company well versed in period plaster finishes, stone, masonry, tile, wood, decorative wall coverings, and other architectural decor items. We specialize in on-site restorations and coordinating with diverse teams of professionals aimed towards completing projects with significant historical value. A member of the American Institute for Conservation (AIC), Cornerstone’s clients include Architects, Galleries, Conservators, Museums, Hospitals, Colleges, public spaces, and Construction professionals.

ART CONSERVATION, RESTORATION, AND INSTALLATION
Expert conservation of historic paintings and murals, including canvas removal and re-mounting, mosaic and Fresco wall preservation, relocation, restoration and stabilization, and sculpture and statuary maintenance, restoration and relocation services.
ORNAMENTAL PLASTER RESTORATION
Experienced craftsmen will assess the state of the existing plaster components and begin the recovery, restoration, and re-creation of details, including processes such as mold-making/casting, and new installations.

FOUNDER
Cornerstone Conservation is spearheaded by its founder and Principal, Arnold Aprea.
A graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design, Arnold’s career in construction and art conservation span nearly 30 years. He is able to blend his passion for conservation with his strong work ethic, and still maintain an affable, yet determined personality. While Arnold is deeply passionate about art and conservation, he is first and foremost a truly devoted family man, committed to his family and friends.
